2. In the year of starting, what was the biggest challenge you faced?

Due to Marxist activities, I was transferred from Kolkata, I did not know business promoters in Delhi which is a sine-qua-non for building a professional practice.

3. Over the years you have become profit-oriented yet socially minded professionals — you have, in a way, become social entrepreneurs. Did you have this mindset when you started?

This was the objective, always.

4. What is the single thing which has remained “constant” all these years without being changed?

Strategic objective : Develop potential of clients and of our people; as the bedrock of growth.

5. What would you like you, as a founder, to be remembered as?

I have helped to establish certain values in the firm.

6. What is that single mantra you would give to new incoming partners?

Based on knowledge growth, develop your colleagues and your clients.

The challenge of life always is how to get others (clients, in the case of profession) to see in you the strengths that you see in yourself. That takes a long time in every professional journey but eventually the world sees you as you see yourself and the problem is solved. 

3. Over the years you have become profit-oriented yet socially minded professionals — you have, in a way, become social entrepreneurs. Did you have this mindset when you started?

My father who is the founder of the group, always believed that every business to succeed has to give value to the society while it takes something from the society. This commitment to all stakeholders from the society has brought us to where we are today.

4. What is the single thing which has remained “constant” all these years without being changed?

Integrity, excellence in services and passion for growth.

5. What would you like you, as a founder, to be remembered as?

One of the series of gardeners who helped build a beautiful garden from where everybody derived enjoyment and fulfilment.

6. What is that single mantra you would give to new incoming partners?

Think long term. Integrity and excellence will bring huge rewards.

2. In the year of starting, what was the biggest challenge you faced?

2003 My wife, “How come you’re home in the afternoon?” Now “What time is your flight back to Bangalore”.

3. Over the years you have become profit-oriented yet socially minded professionals — you have, in a way, become social entrepreneurs. Did you have this mindset when you started?

Profit was never the scorecard, turnover never the chase. The playground was “how can I help you?”

4. What is the single thing which has remained “constant” all these years without being changed?

For decades one fuel never exhausted and that was "conviction".

5. What would you like you, as a founder, to be remembered as?

The music is the name of the firm, rest is noise.

We founded it once; you found it every day [it's a discovery]
